The primary purpose of registration with sciLINKS is to allow teachers to monitor their students' use of this website, if they wish. We collect a minimum amount of information from students—enough to identify them uniquely (first name, last initial, zip code). We request more information from teachers/parents to help us identify where sciLINKS is being used and improve our services. We also offer teachers/parents the opportunity to add their e-mail address to a list for receiving news and information from the National Science Teachers Association.

None of the information gathered will be made available to any third party for commercial or other use.
